Jaime Borromeo and Julian Rodriguez Join SM Youth Runway

SM Youth presented its fun denim collection with two mall shows this month. It’s also the very first and official fashion show of the two SM Youth Go-See winners, Jaime Borromeo and Julian Rodriguez.

SM Youth brand ambassador Kaila Estrada couldn’t keep her excitement for the two: “They’ve grown so much from the competition and  I am so excited for them to finally do a fashion show with us.  The styling is different, and the music, the models, and the vibe. Rehearsing earlier, I really feel like this is going to be a great show.”
Jaime Borromeo shares, “The feeling of being part of this SM Youth family… It’s undescribable. Ever since I started the SM Youth Go See show, I already felt that sense of family in the community.” Julian Rodriguez chimes in, “It feels so sureal. It hasn’t sunk in that I am an SM Youth ambassador. I really have no words for how I feel that I am being part of all the shows and events. This is actually my first runway show, aside from the Cove event. I’m nervous, and excited for what’s to come. I still feel so surreal. I still pinch myself everyday.”

“Of course, being part of the ever growing family and community such as SM Youth has been such a humbling experience for me: to be able to witness myself the dreams of people like Jaime and Julian. They always say we are the ones who inspire them, but I really think it’s the other way around. People like Julian and Jaime, and of course the other contestants, they’re the ones who inspire us to push our fashion even more forward and to bring the brand to more people.  I’m always excited to welcome newcomers to the family, to create new memories together. This is exactly how the new denim collection of SM Youth is now. I am wearing this amazing stretchable jeans. Like once you wear them, you can do anything, you can be anyone in this world. When you wear this kind of clothing, it makes you even more confident in yourself and your capabilities,” adds SM Youth ambassador Erika Kristensen.

Erika’s SM Youth brand ambassador counterpart, Macaulay Lofgren, talks about the SM Youth family, “It feels great to be part of a family that is ever growing, a family that continues to inspire the youth and the general public. It’s good to be part of something bigger than myself and it’s great to do my part in making the country a better place. The denim fashion show, it’s great to see the diversity we have amongst ourselves and the ambassadors, as well as the new line that will be out in stores.”
