Dongfeng Motors Philippines officially launched the Dongfeng Mage EV on October 22, 2026, at the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), introducing a full-size electric SUV that combines a 530-kilometer driving range with a competitive price of just ₱1,398,000.
With its long-range capability, the Mage EV offers an attractive alternative for Filipino motorists seeking an electric SUV without the higher price tag typically associated with long-range electric vehicles.
The launch was attended by automotive media representatives, industry stakeholders, and brand partners, including Tara Global Technology Inc.
Beyond its competitive pricing, the Mage EV features DC fast charging in approximately 30 minutes, a spacious 413-liter luggage compartment, and a premium-feeling cabin designed for comfort and practicality.
Positioned under the slogan “Built for Business. Made for Everyday Life,” the Mage EV caters to both private motorists and entrepreneurs. Its long driving range, fast-charging capability, and estimated driving cost of just ₱2.00 per kilometer make it an appealing option for daily commutes and transport network vehicle services (TNVS) operations.
