Global Physical AI company XPENG officially launched in the Philippines on Friday, introducing a six-variant lineup across the XPENG X9 and XPENG L03 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The launch expands the company’s initial Philippine offering with newly announced versions of both models, joining the flagship variants whose prices were released earlier this month. The full lineup gives Filipino customers a broader choice of premium electric and range-extended vehicles, with prices starting at ₱1,548,000.
The event marked a major milestone in XPENG’s continuing expansion across Southeast Asia. An audience of 3,000, comprising media, content creators, dealer and banking partners, automotive industry executives, special guests and members of the public, gathered for a presentation that combined the vehicle debuts with a broader look at the company’s work in Physical AI.
One of the evening’s major moments was the formal introduction of Anne Curtis as XPENG Philippines’ official brand ambassador. The actress, television host and recording artist joins the company as it begins bringing its vehicles and vision for Physical AI to Filipino audiences. Her sophisticated style, broad appeal and ability to remain relevant across generations reflect XPENG’s premium, modern and technology-led identity.
The presentation also offered a glimpse of XPENG’s innovations beyond automobiles through special displays of the X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot. Performances by singer-songwriter TJ Monterde, Pinoy Pop group GAT and social media personality Criselda Alvarez further added to the scale and energy of the arena launch.
“Tonight, Filipino customers saw the full range of choices behind our Philippine debut, from the space and comfort of the XPENG X9 to the different electric driving options offered by the XPENG L03,” said Katoon Su, Country Director of XPENG Philippines. “We are pairing these vehicles with comprehensive ownership support and a growing dealer network because the customer experience after the launch matters just as much as the technology presented on stage.”
XPENG X9: Two Choices for the Flagship MPV
The XPENG X9, the brand’s flagship Ultra-Intelligent Seven-Seater MPV, enters the Philippine market in two Long Range variants designed around different passenger needs and preferences. The XPENG X9 Long Range is priced at ₱3,858,000, while the XPENG X9 with Second Row Premium Seat Package is priced at ₱4,058,000, as previously announced.
The two variants provide distinct approaches to second-row comfort and cabin use. The variant with the Premium Seat Package creates a more individualized second-row seating experience through four-way powered headrest adjustment and 16-point massage while the X9 Long Range features Zero-Gravity seats separated by a central aisle, offering passengers convenient access between the second and third rows.
Whichever configuration customers choose, both variants share the same core XPENG X9 technologies. Class-leading active rear-wheel steering gives the large MPV a turning radius of just 5.4 meters, helping it maneuver through tight turns, narrow streets and parking areas. Intelligent dual-chamber air suspension supports a comfortable and composed ride, while the powered third row folds beneath the floor at the touch of a button to create additional cargo space.
Both variants are powered by the same front-wheel-drive electric system producing 235 kW and 450 Nm. Each is equipped with a 110 kWh battery and delivers up to 615 km of driving range1. With a compatible DC fast charger and under optimal conditions, the XPENG X9 can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 12 minutes.
The XPENG X9 is available in Midnight Black, Arctic White and Matte Gray, with Silver Frost available by special order. Both variants come with a Meteorite Black interior, while Coffee is available by special order.
XPENG L03: The Electric Choice with a Range-Extended Option
The XPENG L03 Next-Generation AI SUV Coupé launches in four variants, comprising three battery-electric models and one range-extended electric vehicle (REEV).
Leading the lineup is the previously announced XPENG L03 EV RWD Long Range Ultra at ₱2,058,000. It is joined by the XPENG L03 EV Long Range at ₱1,698,000, the XPENG L03 REEV at ₱1,598,000, and the XPENG L03 EV Standard Range at ₱1,548,000.
The Long Range Ultra features a 71.1 kWh battery and delivers a driving range of up to 480 kms1. It also adds front-seat massage, an upgraded sound system and additional intelligent driving hardware.
The EV Long Range uses the same 71.1 kWh battery and offers up to 520 km driving range1. The EV Standard Range combines a 58.3 kWh battery with up to 445 km of range1, providing a more accessible entry point into the L03 lineup.
The REEV variant is designed for customers who want the everyday experience of driving an electric vehicle while retaining the flexibility to travel longer distances. Its 37.2 kWh battery is larger than those commonly found in conventional hybrids and earlier-generation range-extended vehicles, providing up to 215 km of pure electric range¹. This allows many daily commutes, errands and even intercity journeys to be completed using battery power alone.
Compared with range-extended vehicles offering approximately 100 km or less of electric range, the L03 REEV delivers a more complete EV driving experience for a greater portion of everyday travel. When additional range is required, its onboard engine generates electricity for the battery rather than driving the wheels directly, extending the vehicle’s combined WLTP range to as much as 1,017 km.
All four L03 variants use an electric motor to drive the rear wheels. With a compatible DC fast charger and under optimal conditions, they can charge from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 20 minutes.
Across the lineup, the L03 provides a five-seat cabin, a 539-liter rear luggage area, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and XPENG’s suite of driver assistance and safety technologies. Exterior colors include Arctic White, Midnight Black, Rock Gray, Silver Frost, and Phantom Purple, paired with a Dark Gray interior.
Ownership Support and Reservations
XPENG is supporting its Philippine lineup with ownership packages covering preventive maintenance, roadside assistance, vehicle and electric-component warranties, and charging equipment.
XPENG X9 customers receive five years of free preventive maintenance services, five years of free roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, an eight-year warranty for the battery and electric motor, and a 7kW wall charger.
The XPENG L03 comes with two years of free preventive maintenance services, five years of free roadside assistance, a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, and an eight-year warranty for the battery and electric motor. XPENG L03 EV customers receive a 7kW wall charger, while the REEV variant comes with a 3.5 kW portable charger.
Customers may reserve the XPENG X9 for ₱25,000 or the XPENG L03 for ₱10,000 by sending a message to @xpengphilippines on Facebook or Instagram. Deliveries to customers are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. Availability may vary depending on the selected model, variant, color and dealer allocation.
Reservations may also be made through XPENG Greenhills, XPENG Makati, XPENG North EDSA and XPENG Cebu. Additional dealerships are expected to be announced as XPENG Philippines expands its sales and service network and brings its vehicles closer to customers across the country.
