Primetime King and Sarsaya Brand endorser, Coco Martin charmed the media guest in the launching of Sarsaya second TV Commercial held at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City last July 5, 2018.
After successful entry in the market, Sarsaya, celebrated the Filipiniana-themed event named “Exploring Local Flavors with SARSAYA”, where an exclusive #kaSARSAYAn Filipino Food Walking Tour were experienced by the media guests as they went in the storied walls of Las Casas.
Coco happily shared stories from the set of his most recent brand commercial, chiming the catchy jingle, “Lasang Oyster na Oyster, SARSAYA®!”
Award-winning food writer Ige Ramos, who is also the President of the Culinary Historians of the Philippines, led the group as food tour captain. He talked about the history of Filipino cuisine and how the carinderia is the cultural and economic backbone of almost 8 percent of the Filipinos.
The participants were able to taste a local street food like fishballs, squidballs, traditional pancit habhab on banana leaves, and carinderia-style adobo complemented by SARSAYA® oyster sauce featured in carinderia named, Coco’s Carinderia.
Concentrated from real oysters and specially made to suit Filipino taste and preference, Senior Brand Assistant Rhenz Villanueva shared that, “SARSAYA® has reached the number three spot in the oyster sauce category within only one year of being in the market.”
When asked what his take on the success of Sarsaya® being 3rd leading brand, Coco shared, “Siyempre po masayang-masaya ako. Nakaka-proud na sabihin na ang pagtitiwala ng Ajinomoto sa akin bilang endorser ng kanilang bagong produktong Sarsaya® ay nagbunga ng maganda, at naging positibo ang pagtanggap ng mga mamimili rito.”
