Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios have unveiled the official trailer, poster, and new stills for The Man With The Bag, an action-packed holiday adventure set to premiere globally on December 2, 2026. The film marks Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to the Christmas genre after three decades, this time taking on the iconic role of Santa Claus in a festive heist story packed with humor, heart, and holiday magic.
In The Man With The Bag, Christmas hangs in the balance when Santa’s magical red bag is stolen. Faced with an unprecedented crisis, Santa turns to his Naughty List and recruits Vance, a skilled thief played by Alan Ritchson, to help recover the stolen item. Together with Vance’s daughter and an unlikely crew of misfits, the team embarks on a high-stakes mission that could determine the fate of the holiday season.
Directed by Adam Shankman from a screenplay written by Allan Rice, the film delivers a fresh twist on traditional Christmas entertainment by blending the excitement of a heist adventure with the warmth and wonder of the holidays. Schwarzenegger and Ritchson lead an ensemble cast that includes Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Jane Krakowski, Ken Jeong, and Awkwafina.
Combining action, comedy, and heartfelt storytelling, The Man With The Bag explores themes of second chances, friendship, and the importance of coming together in times of need. Produced by Lawrence Grey, Ben Everard, Reg Tigerman, Dan Spilo, and Alan Ritchson, the PG-rated film promises a fun-filled holiday spectacle for audiences of all ages when it premieres exclusively on Prime Video this December.
