Prime Video has launched a new Weekly Top 10 initiative, giving audiences and media unprecedented transparency into what the world is watching on one of the largest streaming platforms globally.
Every week, Prime Video will now publish four Top 10 charts:
- Top 10 Prime Original Films (English & Non-English) – Worldwide
- Top 10 Prime Original Series (English & Non-English) – Worldwide
- Top 10 Non-English Prime Original Films – Worldwide
- Top 10 Non-English Prime Original Series – Worldwide
The charts reflect actual viewership data from Prime Video’s global audience, offering a real-time pulse on the films and series resonating with viewers around the world.
The charts will be published every Thursday at 3:00 a.m. Philippine Time (corresponding to every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. PT) via the Amazon News website and Prime Video’s official social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
Prime Video’s Weekly Top 10 charts represent a significant step toward viewership transparency in the streaming industry. For the first time, audiences, creators, journalists, and industry analysts will have a consistent, weekly window into what’s capturing global attention on Prime Video. The charts demonstrate the platform’s commitment to global storytelling, and the data proves that audiences everywhere are embracing content from diverse cultures and languages.
This week’s charts show Asian content dominating. India claims three titles on the Non-English Series chart, Japan’s Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun holds at #2, and South Korea’s Absolute Value of Romance features at #10. These aren’t niche performances either, Indian Original System sits at #6 on the overall global films chart, while Raakh debuted at #7 on the overall global series chart, competing directly with major English-language titles.
For Southeast Asian audiences, who regularly watch across languages and borders, from Korean dramas and Japanese anime to Indian thrillers and Hollywood hits, these charts offer a snapshot of the stories resonating with viewers worldwide. Updated weekly, the Top 10 charts also serve as a discovery tool for subscribers looking for their next watch.
Publishing this data signals confidence. Prime Video is letting the numbers speak for themselves, demonstrating belief in its content slate, particularly its International Originals, and its commitment to bringing compelling stories from around the world to audiences everywhere.
