One of the standout highlights was the Live Painting by Natural Balance, where talented artists captured the unique charm of attendees’ pets on canvas, creating cherished keepsakes for pet owners.

The TikiPets Photobooth provided a fun way to celebrate the day, offering attendees memorable snapshots with their pets in a festive setting. Dr. Ken Lao and Dr. Cris Lao, seasoned veterinarians at The Ark Animal Health Veterinarian Clinic and Co-founders of Pawsitivity Project Philippines, highlighted the importance of mental stimulation for pets, pointing out that cognitive activities contribute to a pet’s overall well-being. “Keeping pets mentally engaged is just as essential as physical exercise,” they said.

Dr. Jaline Sta. Ana, a Certified Veterinarian at the New Alabang Vet Center, provided practical tips on maintaining proper nutrition during the festive season. “Avoid giving pets table scraps during holiday meals, and choose pet-friendly treats that align with their dietary requirements,” she said.

Meanwhile, certified dog trick trainer Vicky Ortega demonstrated easy training exercises that pet owners could practice at home. “A few minutes a day of focused training can greatly enhance your pet’s behavior,” she shared. Dr. Zander Castro, Co-owner and Head Veterinarian at The Furr Project Animal Hospital, emphasized the importance of hydration and routine check-ups, stating, “Consistent vet visits help catch any potential health issues early.” Finally, Roque Banzon, a veterinary student, shared his insights on recognizing signs of pet stress during bustling holiday events, helping attendees better understand how to keep their pets comfortable in busy settings.
