With a common goal to bring about technological development in the real estate sector, a strategic business partnership between Globe Telecom and Ortigas Malls is well underway. The ICT solutions provider and telecommunications giant commits itself to enable the pioneering Philippine real estate company, along with its many commercial properties, through inclusive connectivity, digital innovations, and sustainability efforts.

Globe came into this year-long tie-up with the aim to redefine every Ortigas Malls’ customer experience, provide them with products relevant to their daily lives, and offer them online and onsite solutions—all to augment Ortigas Malls and Ortigas Community Card memberships by 2024.

Easy and Convenient Transactions through GCash

In partnership with Ortigas Malls, cash-in machines will be deployed across various malls so that customers can easily add funds to their GCash wallets. These cash-in machines will double as e-loading and bill payment stations to diversify customers’ options for convenient transactions. Customers can also enjoy cashless QR payments through GCash Scan-to-Pay when they shop and dine in Ortigas Malls establishments. Free Internet Connectivity with Globe GoWiFi

Another feature that is set to enhance the customers’ mall journey is the installation of free GoWiFi in the common areas of Ortigas Malls. GoWiFi gives the public access to up to 60 minutes of free internet per mobile device every day. This service is available in Greenhills Mall, Tiendesitas, Capitol Commons and Estancia Mall; and Industria Mall.

Responsible Electronic Waste Recycling Initiatives with Globe E-Waste Zero (EWZ) Program

Last but not the least, Globe and Ortigas Malls’ partnership envisions the entire Ortigas community going green through responsible electronic waste (e-waste) management. Members of the community can dispose of their old, non-working electronic devices through designated Globe e-waste bins which will be deployed in different parts of Ortigas commercial properties. E-waste bins can accommodate small and handy e-waste items such as mobile phones, cable wires (except fiber optic), CDs, and DVDs. Community members can request door-to-door hauling of bulky and multiple bulky e-wastes by filling out a form on the Globe website: www.globe.com.ph/about-us/sustainability/environment.
