Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), also known as the Jollibee Group, has been named one of four recipients of the Multi-Year Excellence Award by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), recognizing its sustained excellence in people management and long-standing contributions to advancing people practices in the country.
The recognition was presented during the 50th PMAP Awards Night, held on October 22 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City, as part of the 63rd PMAP Annual Conference.
Among the special Golden Jubilee Awards marking the 50-year history of the PMAP Awards, the Multi-Year Excellence Award honors organizations that have achieved at least three PMAP Awards victories over the years, reflecting a consistent record of people management excellence.
For Jollibee Group, the recognition brings together nearly three decades of achievements in developing talent, supporting employees, and strengthening people management practices.
Nearly three decades of people management recognition
Jollibee Group’s latest distinction builds on three previous PMAP recognitions, beginning with Jollibee Foods Corporation’s first Employer of the Year Award in 1998.
More than two decades later, the company received the Employer of the Year Award again in 2024, recognizing its people management practices and their contribution to organizational performance.
That same year, Jollibee Group Global Chief Human Resources Officer Arsenio Sabado was named PMAP’s People Manager of the Year, recognizing his leadership and contributions to the people management profession.
Together, these three distinctions formed the basis for Jollibee Group’s Multi-Year Excellence Award recognition, highlighting the importance of consistently investing in people across different stages of the company’s growth.
