Adventure met adrenaline as Gravelton PH staged its most-awaited Gravelton Clark 2026 last October 25 at Filinvest Mimosa Plus Leisure City, Clark, Pampanga. Marking its fifth season, the country’s leading gravel race brought together hundreds of cyclists, including participants from 11 different countries, for a thrilling test of grit, endurance, and gear across Central Luzon’s rugged terrains.
Building on the strong legacy of its previous editions, Gravelton Clark 2026 fused a top-tier, fiercely competitive athletic challenge with a festival-like community celebration anchored in authentic Filipino warmth and post-ride camaraderie.
This year’s edition introduced an expanded set of race categories catering to diverse skill levels. In addition to the premier 120KM Long Distance and 80KM Intermediate Distance courses, the event debuted a brand-new 50KM Partner-ride format, allowing two-rider teams to take on the scenic gravel routes together and highlighting the sport’s strong spirit of teamwork and shared adventure.
“First and foremost, Gravelton PH exists because of the incredible support from our community, partners, and riders. We are deeply grateful to everyone who makes this movement possible,” said Ritchie Santayana, Group Category Director of Gruppo Innovare Corp. / Specialized Philippines. “We set out to create a home for the gravel riders, and it has transformed into a powerful celebration of grit and connection. From the moment riders hit the dirt to the final post-ride toast, every aspect is crafted to push boundaries and bring cyclists together, both locally and worldwide.”
In the premier 120KM course categories, Nash Lim spearheaded the Men’s Gravel division, flanked by Nathaniel Blanca and Luigi Mamburan in 2nd and 3rd place, while Althea Campana took top honors in the Women’s Gravel division ahead of Shagne Yao and Raji Detera. The 120KM course also saw competitive showdowns across disciplines, with Francis Allan Hugo and Marcel Arsenal securing the top spots in Men’s E-Bike, alongside Arvin Velasco, Dave Cerilo, and Clyde Encarguez dominating the Men’s MTB podium. Meanwhile, the action-packed 80KM course crowned its own roster of champions: Gerard Mendoza, Gab Espena, and Peter Ceriaco led Men’s Gravel; Eloiza Pajarito, Rhia Stawicki, and Sam Abriol captured the Women’s Gravel podium; Ren Sy, Miguel Bichara, and Benny Bautista topped Men’s E-Bike; and Matthew Symon Quinones, Valler Duffield, and Sammy Llupar swept the Men’s MTB division. All top finishers across the divisions were rewarded with premium wearable tech gear.
Gravel racing, an intense and unpredictable test where participants ride across a raw mix of asphalt, mud, and rugged rural trails, has evolved tremendously in the Philippines. Scaling up from a passionate local gathering into the country’s premier gravel event drawing over 600 participants, Gravelton has firmly turned Clark into a buzzing regional hub for the sport.
