The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has launched We Don’t Wait For Fun, a new campaign that aims to inspire early-career travelers to seize the moment and rediscover Singapore as a destination where exciting experiences are always within reach.
Created for young professionals looking to make the most of their time away, the campaign highlights how Singapore’s compact size, efficient connectivity, and diverse offerings make it easy to enjoy more in a single trip. Whether it’s discovering new cafés, exploring vibrant neighbourhoods, or uncovering creative spaces and local art experiences, every corner of the city offers opportunities for adventure and discovery.
At the heart of the campaign is the idea that fun shouldn’t have to wait. Instead of spending months planning the perfect getaway, travellers in Singapore are free to follow their curiosity, and say yes to new experiences as they happen.
To bring the campaign closer to Filipino audiences, STB has introduced the localized expression “SG? Sige, G!,” a playful take on the familiar Filipino phrase that captures the spirit of saying yes to spontaneous plans. Whether it’s a quick getaway with friends, a solo adventure, or a last-minute invitation to try something new, the campaign celebrates the joy of simply going for it.
“Filipino travelers, especially early-career professionals, are increasingly seeking destinations that offer a mix of discovery, excitement, and convenience,” said Terrence Voon, Singapore Tourism Board’s Executive Director for Southeast Asia. “Singapore’s diverse experiences and ease of getting around allow travelers to make the most of every moment. Through “We Don’t Wait For Fun”, we invite Filipinos to experience Singapore in ways that feel personal, adventurous, and memorable.”
Kicking off the campaign is content creator Rei Germar, who serves as its opening voice through a social content series documenting her time in Singapore. Known for sharing wellness-inspired routines, creative pursuits, and authentic perspectives, Rei explores different sides of the city, from a morning run at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and a traditional tingkat painting workshop, to creative spaces in New Bahru and the vibrant streets of Joo Chiat, showcasing how easy it is to turn everyday moments into unexpected adventures.
“Some of my favorite moments in Singapore weren’t necessarily the ones I planned for, they were the spontaneous discoveries, detours, and unexpected experiences I decided to try on a whim. That’s what made the trip so memorable for me. Sometimes all it takes is a simple ‘Sige, G!’” said Rei Germar.
Rei’s content marks the beginning of a broader campaign rollout, with Filipinos set to see more exciting activities, collaborations, and experiences under “We Don’t Wait For Fun” in the coming months. Through these initiatives, STB aims to continue showcasing the many ways Singapore can spark travellers’ curiosity, spontaneity, and discovery.
