KID PHENOMENON Announces “KIDS00’s” Album, Captures Ambition of the 2000s Generation

Following their phenomenal performance at SXSW 2026, the group is set to debut a new 12-song collection

Japanese seven-member dance and vocal group KID PHENOMENON from EXILE TRIBE, managed under LDH JAPAN, has officially released their second studio album, “KIDS00’s” (read: Kids Double Oh), arriving on June 17, 2026.

Marking their first full-length album in almost one and half year since their first album “PHENOMENON”, the new project serves as both a reflection of the group’s journey so far and a statement of where they are headed next. The album features 12 tracks, including all singles and coupling tracks released after their fifth single “Sparkle Summer”, alongside three brand-new songs created specifically for the album.

The title “KIDS00’s” draws inspiration from the group’s name while also connecting directly to their upcoming “KID PHENOMENON LIVE TOUR 2026 ‘KIDS00’s’.” More importantly, it represents the members themselves, all born in the 2000s, and symbolizes the endless possibilities that lie ahead as they continue to pursue their dreams together.

Leading the album is the newly recorded title track “KIDS”. This song is driven by an irresistibly addictive looping beat and blends classic boom-bap vibes with Gen Z-inspired lyrics, creating a unique balance of nostalgia and modern energy.

Prior to the album’s release, KID PHENOMENON also unveiled a powerful dance performance video for “KIDS”. The performance features choreography from world-renowned internet sensation Sienna Lalau, who is most known for her work with BTS, BLACKPINK, and Selena Gomez. The official music video for “KIDS”, filmed in Los Angeles, will be released soon.

Joined by new songs such as “Neo code”, a powerful future-facing anthem driven by an energetic sound that invites repeated listens, and “BLUE”, a song co-written by all seven members, the album explores themes of youth, ambition, self-discovery, and perseverance, while showcasing the musical growth KID PHENOMENON has developed since their debut.

Group leader KENSUKE SOREMATSU commented: “Even though ‘KIDS’ carries on the ’90s vibe from our previous song ‘Mirror’, it also has a passionate and energetic sound. Through our activities, we’ve been inspired by many different cultures and creative influences. I think that growth is reflected in the wide variety of genres featured on this album.”

This release is a testament to KID PHENOMENON’s fiery ambition to step into the global stage, coming after their landmark performance at SXSW 2026 Austin, Texas, one of the world’s largest creative festivals and conferences.

KENSUKE also shared a message for their fans, affectionately referred to as SPINEL KIDS: “Thank you, as always, for your support. We are truly grateful that so many people are enjoying our music beyond language barriers. We will continue working hard so that we can deliver our performances directly to fans not only in Japan but all around the world. Please listen to ‘KIDS 00’s’ a lot!”

With “KIDS00’s,” KID PHENOMENON captures the spirit of a new generation standing at the beginning of limitless possibilities. The album not only reflects the group’s evolution over the past few years but also signals the start of an exciting new era as they continue expanding their presence beyond Japan and onto the global stage.
