First is with the traditional lighting ceremony of its Christmas Centerpiece, for hope and inspiration amid the pandemic.

During the lighting ceremony, Maureen G Fernandez, SM City Taytay mall manager, said that there are so much more in store for over mallgoers this season of giving.
Starting November 9, shop to your heart’s desire and buy your Holiday essentials and gifts at SM’s nationwide Christmas Markets. As part of the Kasama Ng SM campaign and DTI’s Buy Local, Support Local, the Christmas Markets will feature unique local products and goods so shoppers can buy from small businesses and help them bounce forward and recover.
Have a selfie with Santa and friends, shop to your heart’s desire at our Christmas markets, share the joy with the SM Bears of Joy and so much more are in store for you this season of giving!
Returning this coming holiday season to bring color back into Christmas is the SM Bears of Joy. This annual initiative of SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom will remind shoppers that a little generosity can go a long way in uplifting the spirits of others, amid a health crisis.
Throughout the Christmas season, you can buy a pair of bears for P200.00 – one bear for you to keep and the other for charity. This year’s project is also honoring the bravery and selflessness of COVID-19 frontliners with the launch of four specially designed plushies.
Still wanting that annual selfie with Santa Claus? Don’t worry as you can pose with a virtual Santa Claus safely and via augmented reality. Simply scan the AR markers located in select areas inside the mall and have a photo with virtual Santa. You can instantly share these Holiday snaps online to your family and friends!
