This weekend, the evening was filled with dazzling spectacles and fun festivities as the Ceremonial Lighting of the Christmas centerpiece happened at the Main Atrium. Mallgoers were all delighted with the special lighting ceremony, for hope and inspiration amid the pandemic.

And one good way is by buying from small businesses for Holiday essentials and gifts at SM’s nationwide Christmas Markets starting November 9. This way we help local SMEs bounce forward and recover.
Also bringing color back into Christmas is the SM Bears of Joy project. Returning this coming holiday season, this annual initiative of SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom will remind shoppers that a little generosity can go a long way in uplifting the spirits of others, amid a health crisis. Aimed at encouraging shoppers to share the joy of the holiday season with children in need. this year’s project is also honoring the bravery and selflessness of COVID-19 frontliners with the launch of four specially designed plushies. Throughout the Christmas season, you can buy a pair of bears for P200.00 – one bear for you to keep and the other for charity.
If you want your annual selfie with Santa Claus, you can pose with a virtual Santa Claus safely and via augmented reality at SM. Simply scan the AR markers located in select areas inside the mall and have a photo with virtual Santa. You can instantly share these Holiday snaps online to your family and friends!
During the event, there was also a surprise performance by the Psalm of David Orchestra, who serenaded the crowd and filled the air with familiar Christmas carols. So, make sure to meet up with your family and friends at SM this December and enjoy some Holiday tunes by watching various choir performances.
Lastly, 100 #AweSM moms and dads who joined at the event received loot bags that they brought home to their kids.
