Araneta City’s Gateway Gallery has been temporarily converted into a free learning space for teachers and college students in need of stable Wi-Fi connection and a conducive study atmosphere during the pandemic.
In partnership with the J. Amado Araneta Foundation and Quezon City’s Education Affairs Unit, the City of Firsts’ art museum becomes the Gateway Gallery Learning Lab, which will be opened as a free and convenient alternative for studying. It will be equipped with a fast and reliable 5G internet connection to aid students and teachers in their online classes.
“This initiative aims to help teachers and students who are having difficulties in setting up their online classes. The Gateway Gallery will serve as a safe haven to those wanting to learn despite the challenges of the pandemic,” according to Mr. Gari Apolonio, Gateway Gallery Curator.
The Gateway Gallery Learning Lab has two study areas: the Main Hall which can house up to ten (10) people, and a Recording studio that can accommodate four (4) people. Stringent health guidelines and protocols will be implemented to ensure safety within the learning lab of its patrons.
Setting the mood at the Learning Lab is Gateway Gallery’s interesting artwork gallery, which features a diverse cultural and historic display that will set an inspiring ambiance for education.
A teacher or college student may reserve a slot online or via walk-in. A valid school identification card will be requested to access the amenities. A dedicated waiting area will be allotted to walk-ins should the Learning Lab reach its maximum person capacity.

The Gateway Gallery will be open from 10 am to 5pm and is located at the 5th floor of Gateway Tower, Araneta City.
