MAFBEX 2018 takes you on the “Ultimate Foodventure”

Now on its 12th edition, the Manila Food and Beverage Expo is on a mission to unleash the foodie in every Filipino as it returns to take everyone on an “Ultimate Foodventure”. Organized by MAFBEX Events Management, a subsidiary of Worldbex Services International, and presented in partnership with the Young Hoteliers Exposition (YHE) and the Organization of Bar Professionals (OBP), the country’s most anticipated food show promises to unravel the best and latest food and beverage finds in the “glocal” market!

 

Conceived around the premise of adventure, MAFBEX 2018 seeks to inspire even the pickiest of eaters to set out on an adventurous binge as it houses over 500 booths and 300 exhibitors within a 15,000sqm-wide space – all of which are expected to bring together the finest F&B delights from across the country and beyond. This year, among the participating countries to showcase the most distinct flavors from their lands include Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, and Vietnam.

Given the magnitude of every MAFBEX show, the venue will once again be divided into different product zones for food and beverage, franchise equipment, packaging, kitchenware/glassware, organic products and condiments. Categorizing the booths into zones are expected to make it easier for attendees to maneuver around the gastronomic maze.

 

Truly the biggest foodie event to watch out for this summer, not to be missed at MAFBEX 2018 are the plethora of exciting pocket events and activities that will be hosted throughout the five-day expo. Offering visitors a unique opportunity to witness renowned chefs in action and even a chance to meet and greet F&B personalities is the Chefs of the World program.

Both considered as key MAFBEX highlights, set to impart new insights into the latest trends and innovations for this year’s attendees are the free MAFBEX Seminars featuring the industry’s top practitioners along with the series of Stage Demos which will be presented by select F&B companies.

Over the years, MAFBEX has taken pride in serving as a platform for young and undiscovered talents. This time around, MAFBEX is more than happy to open the stage for another batch of hopefuls who aspire to show the world their talents in both the kitchen and the bar. Attendees are invited to catch the series of live competitions happening at MAFBEX 2018 such as the 2nd MAFBEX Culinary Home Chef Edition, Flair Competition, and the YHE Culinary Competitions.

Emerging as the biggest gathering of the top F&B brands and companies, MAFBEX 2018 also proves to be an ideal venue for exhibitors, investors, and trade players to explore promising B2B opportunities. This year, those who are looking into start their own franchising business are encouraged to visit the Franchising Zone which will be featuring companies such as Fosse Coffee, Lugaw ni Bossing, Jonas Pares, JC Franchising, and Farinas Empanada among others. Meanwhile, those who are in search of reliable sources of quality homegrown produce ought to visit the Organic Product Pavilion where regional offices will be showcasing their best regional products.

But the best part of all, MAFBEX lets attendees “Eat For A Cause” as part of the proceeds of the show will go to the ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc. Indeed, MAFBEX 2018 is the “Ultimate Foodventure” of the season as it proves to be a one-stop destination for all things food!

The biggest food event in the country, the 12th Manila Food and Beverage Expo or simply, watch out as MAFBEX 2018 officially opens its doors on June 13 to 17 from 10:00am to 8:00pm at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
