Giving Back to the Community Through Education and Preparedness
As part of the reopening, UNIQLO is expanding its Supporting Brighter Futures Through Education initiative to Cabanatuan in partnership with the ABS-CBN Foundation. Through support from customers who choose AIRism, Macatbong Integrated School becomes the fourth of fifteen last-mile schools nationwide that UNIQLO aims to support.
Powered by proceeds from participating AIRism purchases, the initiative helps improve classrooms and ventilation systems to create a more comfortable learning environment for students affected by extreme heat and weather disruptions. Students also received over 1,000 AIRism and pre-loved LifeWear items through RE.UNIQLO, and participated in disaster preparedness activities through the ABS-CBN Foundation’s Master of Disaster program.
The initiative demonstrates how everyday customer purchases can help support education, strengthen community resilience, and extend the life of clothing through responsible reuse. Through initiatives such as these, UNIQLO remains committed to improving lives beyond clothing and helping build brighter futures for communities across the Philippines.
