Leading Philippine broadband and technology provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. championed diversity and inclusivity by celebrating Pride Month within its workplaces and alongside thousands of advocates at the LoveLab4n Pride Festival 2026 in Quezon City.
For the third year running, Converge took part in the Quezon City government and PridePH-hosted LoveLab4n Festival 2026, held on June 27 at the University of the Philippines – Diliman. Converge employees raised the Converge flag during one of the biggest pride parades in Southeast Asia to signify solidarity with and support for the community as they trekked the five-kilometer route across the campus.
Apart from participating in the Pride March, which gathered around 300,000 people, Converge also fiber-powered the expo and set up a Pride-themed booth during the festival where the company gave away colorful markers and other branded merchandise as freebies to festival-goers while promoting new products and services, further reinforcing the company’s message of inclusion and connection.
Converge kicked off the host of Pride celebrations with a SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression) information webinar for Pasig and Pampanga-based employees, geared towards raising and enforcing gender awareness and equality in the workplace.
Converge also organized Pride-themed bazaars at its Pasig and Pampanga offices, bringing together concessionaires from food and beverage, mental wellness, and self-expression brands to create spaces for celebration and community building. Employees likewise received company-branded rainbow merchandise as symbols of allyship and pride.
A highlight of the celebration was the unveiling of the company’s Rainbow Lane at the entrance of its office facilities — a visible and lasting reminder of the commitment of Converge to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong.
“True belonging means creating a workplace where individuality is embraced, valued, and empowered. It also makes bringing their authentic selves to work a joyful experience – every single day. The energy and engagement we saw this month prove that when we champion diversity, we strengthen the fabric of our entire company,” said Converge SVP and Head of People and Culture Mylene Sardinia. “Let us continue to take pride in who we are, what we do and where we aspire to be.”
On June 10, the company’s original content series – The XLounge Podcast – launched a special episode titled “Pride is in Your Fiber,” featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines queens Arizona Brandy, Myx Chanel, and Hana Beshie. The episode dives deep into the queens’ journeys, exploring their struggles, triumphs, and communities that shaped them.
Following the live recording, Converge subscribers who were invited to the event enjoyed a “Drag Xperience” filled with electrifying performances by the headlining queens alongside the talented Kings and Queens of Halxyon Club. The full episode is now available to watch on the Converge official YouTube channel and Converge FiberX Facebook page.
“At Converge, our commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) is rooted in our belief that innovation thrives when people feel seen, heard, and valued. Through initiatives like our Pride celebration, we continue to build a culture where everyone can succeed as their authentic selves,” noted Converge AVP and Head of Corporate Communications and Employer Branding Princess Gresola.
Also participating in the celebration was the company’s Global Business Group (GBG) headquartered in the Bonifacio Global City (BGC). The Converge GBG unit held a hybrid Father’s Day and Pride Fair with a variety of concessionaires catering to both the fathers and the LGBTQIA+ community in their HQ.
“As Converge continues to expand its national digital infrastructure footprint, the company remains committed to building teams where diverse experiences, perspectives, and identities fuel innovation and growth for the digital future of the country,” concluded Converge VP and Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations Jay-Anne Encarnado.
