Eastwood City brings together two beloved pop culture icons with an interactive Sanrio x Pokémon pop-up at the Eastwood Mall Atrium, running until April 21.
In partnership with Keepplay, the contemporary building-block brand known for its stylish collectibles, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls introduces an immersive experience that blends Sanrio’s signature kawaii aesthetic with the legendary universe of Pokémon.
The pop-up welcomes “kidults,” collectors, and families to explore themed displays, engage in “Build & Play” zones, and discover high-detail modular sets perfect for display or creative play. Beyond the storefronts, the experience offers a light, playful escape that brings back the simple joy of building while celebrating creativity and self-expression.
A World of Kawaii
The Sanrio collection caters to the massive “Pink Economy,” appealing to both young girls and women who find joy in character-driven aesthetics. Fans can find collectible blocks featuring Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Pochacco, and Pompompurin. Highlights include the “New Summer Series,” featuring whimsical builds like the Kuromi Vintage Radio and Cinnamoroll Inflatable Flamingo.
For those who love sports, the Skating Series features characters in sporty outfits with moveable wheels, while the Strawberry Town and Music Box sets offer intricate display pieces.

For those who crave action, the Battle Series and Go! Battle Series feature iconic matchups like Lucario, Gengar, and Charizard. New for this year are sets with special effect parts and movable joints:
- Blastoise: Features a movable water cannon that rotates in all directions.
