Dr. Shiba launches Magic Mist, a hygiene spray powered by Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) that can be used on a dog’s or cat’s coat, on household surfaces, and on human hands. It’s the first pet spray to combine all three in one bottle.
In pet households, sprays go on fur and paws after outdoor walks, on bedding and carriers, on surfaces pets touch daily, and on minor skin irritations or wounds. Until now, these jobs required separate products. Magic Mist handles all of them in one spray, killing 99.9% of bacteria and viruses in under 60 seconds while staying gentle enough that pets can lick it off.
The active ingredient, HOCl, is a molecule the body naturally produces as part of its immune response. It has been used in hospitals and veterinary clinics for years and is cleared by the US FDA for wound cleansing, healing, and skin care. The World Health Organization and the US Environmental Protection Agency both recognize it for disinfection.
