Chowking welcomed Chinese New Year 2026 with a flavorful celebration, headlined by its festive offerings, including the Coco Mango Halo-Halo and the Chinese-Style Fried Chicken Lauriat, which are perfect for sharing with family and barkada.
This year, Chowking invited Filipinos to welcome the Year of the Horse with a festive spread featuring Chinese-Style Fried Chicken, Pancit Canton, Siomai, Buchi, Egg Fried Rice, and Chicharap, alongside a refreshing dessert that added a bright, tropical twist to the season.
To celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Horse, Chowking hosted its nationwide CHOWlubong festivities on February 16, 2026. Rising star Kai Montinola led the celebration at Chowking Sta. Cruz, Manila, with simultaneous festivities happening in regional flagship Chowking stores nationwide. Bringing the celebration beyond stores, Kim Chiu headlined a special Showtime segment for Chowking’s Chinese New Year festivities. The celebrations came to life through traditional lion and dragon dances and festive in-store programs.
