38th Awit Awards Powered by Vibe Ushers in a New Era of Filipino Music Excellence

MQuest Ventures, PARI unite for a night honoring OPM’s brightest at upcoming 38th Awit Awards

It’s official! The 38th Awit Awards is happening this November! From show-stopping performances to the biggest names in Original Pilipino Music (OPM), this year’s celebration is nothing but musical excellence.

Held yearly to to honor the most outstanding Filipino recording artists and musical productions, Awit Awards lights up the Philippine music scene with a spectacular celebration of artistry, innovation, and OPM pride. The 38th edition will take place on November 16, 2025 at the Meralco Theater under the direction of showbiz veteran Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan. The ceremony will both celebrate contemporary OPM and pay tribute to late music icons whose legacies continue to shape the industry.

MQuest Ventures (MQV) and the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) have officially partnered to mount the 38th Awit Awards, the country’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition body for Original Pilipino Music (OPM). The alliance was formally introduced during the Nominees’ Vibe Night held on October 2, 2025 at Atmosfera, Poblacion, Makati, where the finalists were also revealed. The partnership was symbolized through a ceremonial handshake among Jane Jimenez Basas of MediaQuest Holdings, PARI President Atty. Marivic A. Benedicto, and Alpha Music Corp. President Alvin F. De Vera. MQV and PARI stressed that their collaboration is driven by a shared commitment to honoring Filipino music creators and sustaining the growth of the local music industry.

The night will feature performances from top OPM acts including Ben&Ben, Over October, Lola Amour, and Dionela, with awards to be given across five main categories: Performance, Genre Recording, Special Recording, Technical Achievement, and the prestigious Grand Awards.

This year’s edition marked a bold step forward with Vibe, MQuest Ventures’ multimedia OPM platform known for ranking fan-voted Top 10 songs and spotlighting emerging and established artists, bringing fresh energy through cutting-edge digital engagement and immersive fan experiences.

Hosting duties will be led by Vibe jocks Ana Ramsey, Maxie, Joao Constancia, Elijah Canlas, Dylan Menor, Ryle Santiago, Paolo Angeles, Kych Minemoto, and Queenay, alongside Vibe’s “Gen Vs,” who will provide nominee interviews and exclusive backstage content. With Vibe at the helm of production and streaming technology, audiences will surely enjoy seamless access to the event both live and online, making the ceremony more accessible and interactive than ever before.
