A Night Tour to the World of Gin

This year’s World Gin Day 2025 was more than just a celebration—it was an immersive gin journey led by Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI), the world’s top-selling gin brand.

Held at the Manila Diamond Hotel, the event’s theme—“Your World of Gin Experience”—turned the venue into a travel-inspired gin experience, complete with aviation aesthetics and interactive exhibits that explored gin’s global influence—and Ginebra’s proud Filipino roots.

 

3 Main Zones = 1 Global Gin Tour:

Designed to feel like a flight across the world of gin, guests “checked in” to a multi-sensory trip that showcased gin’s diversity, rich history, and global appeal. Each zone represented a stopover:

• Cool Botanica 🌿 – A lush, garden-like space where guests could see, touch, and smell botanicals like juniper berries—the essential ingredients that give gin its flavor.

• Clear Archives 🏛️ – A London-pub-style exhibit that traced gin’s European roots and highlighted GSMI’s legacy, including premium offerings like 1834 Premium Distilled Gin and Archangel Reserve.

• Versatile Bar & Lounge – Inspired by modern airport lounges, this was the cocktail playground. TESDA-trained mixologists served drinks all made with GSMI’s standout products: GSM Blue, 1834 Premium Distilled Gin, Archangel Reserve Gin, and Ginebra San Miguel Bilog:

A Star-Studded Celebration

Gin lovers, business executives, media, influencers, and celebrities came together to honor gin as a world favorite and Ginebra San Miguel as a brand that has now expanded internationally. This year’s key message was evident: “The Philippines celebrates World Gin Day. And on this day and always, Gin Is In!”

Ginebra Brand endorsers guided guests through the three-part event narrative:

• Boss Toyo kicked things off at Cool Botanica, highlighting why gin is cool and versatile.
• Atty. Oliver Moeller brought depth at Clear Archives, talking about gin’s clarity and GSMI’s award-winning distillation process.
• Mikee Quintos wrapped things up at the Versatile Bar, showing how gin fits all moods, occasions, and lifestyles.

Aside from the signature cocktails inspired by different countries, the event also featured live performances by rapper Nik Makino, GSM Blue endorser Gabbi Garcia, and the Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose, who further reinforced the “limitless” ways of consuming gin because Gin is Cool, Gin is Clear, Gin is Versatile.

Bigger Than Cocktails

A special portion of the evening also took place when Emma Stokes, Global World Gin Day Ambassador, delivered a message in a video greeting, emphasizing how the Philippines—led by GSMI—is putting local gin on the world map. “From Brussels to Bangkok, gin lovers are discovering what Filipinos have always known—Ginebra is a world-class spirit,” Stokes said.

As the program drew to a close, GSMI General Manager Cynthia M. Baroy led the final toast with brand ambassadors and execs, celebrating not just gin, but the Filipino identity behind it.

Beyond the drinks and aesthetic setup, the event spotlighted Filipino craftsmanship and GSMI’s global recognition—including 7 consecutive Gold Quality Seals from Monde Selection (Belgium) and international praise for 1834 Premium Distilled Gin and Gin Bilog.
