Dr. Rica Cruz, a prominent sex and relationships therapist and educator, was the keynote speaker at the event. Her presentation revolved around pressing reproductive health issues faced by Filipinos, particularly the country’s high teenage pregnancy rate, the rate of traditional contraceptive method users, and the continuously increasing HIV cases in the Philippines. Additionally, she highlighted the critical role of trustworthy and comprehensive platforms in reducing stigma and ensuring that individuals, especially the youth, have access to the information they need to make better choices. “Investing in reproductive health education helps people and enables them to thrive.
