Sake Manila, a celebration and showcase of Japan’s rich culture, tradition and craftsmanship, recently took center stage last 24th of May, at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila.
The grand occasion, which featured an impressive lineup of over 200 premium sakes from more than 40 esteemed breweries and distilleries, saw attendees experience the world of authentic Japanese rice wine like never before.
Further enhancing the rich experience were endless gourmet food pairings designed by Okada’s own renowned chefs, headed by Chef Josef Tueschler, coupled with an array of Japanese whiskies, shochus, wines, gins, beers, and more.
Guests were also given the opportunity to connect personally with the artisans, brewers and luminaries behind the beverages, all of which were more than eager to share their unique stories of heritage and deep-rooted traditions infused in every bottle.
Participating Japanese brands at the event included Sapporo, Mars Whiskey, Urakasumi, Mitsutake, Choya, JT International (makers of Nordic Spirit nicotine pouches), Seiko, Mitsubishi, and many more.
