KFC Kentucky Town Music & Arts Festival: What a Fired-Up Night

Last May 18, KFC, the home of the world-renowned Original Recipe Chicken, hosted the Kentucky Town Music & Arts Festival at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, filling the night with talented Filipino artists, fun activities, and of course – finger-lickin’ good food!

KFC Kentucky Town, which has seen success in countries such as Malaysia and South Africa, first came to the Philippines with a Christmas-themed festival last December. According to Charmaine Pamintuan, Chief Marketing of KFC, this summer edition aims to be even bigger and more exciting as this festival was also KFC Philippines’ way of saying its huge thanks to all its Pinoy fans as they celebrate 30 years in the Philippines.

From May 11-18, customers who continue to enjoy the world-famous, and world-loved fried chicken got to redeem a free KFC Kentucky Town Music & Arts Festival concert pass when they reached a minimum single-receipt purchase of P300 on any KFC products.

The event featured diverse performances from the day’s most popular artists, including Parokya ni Edgar, Zack Tabudlo, Juan Karlos, Adie, Rob Daniel, Nobita, Alamat, and KAIA. Not to mention, the university bands from the University of Santo Tomas, UPLB, and STI College also showcased their talents.

Aside from electrifying beats and incredible performances, the festival also treated the customers with numerous limited-edition freebies, such as KFC chicken headbands, sunglasses, bucket hats, and a stylish KFC jacket, plus exciting games, and best of all— KFC food.
