Dark Roast Coffehouse Opens in Maginhawa

A new trend is brewing in Teachers Village as Dark Roast Coffeehouse recently soft launched, promising to be the new go-to destination for coffee lovers and casual café-goers.

Tagged with “Dark is going to be the new trend,” the soft opening reflects the unique and bold flavors that Dark Roast Coffehouse hopes to be known for and encapsulates not only the rich and robust offerings on their menu but also the chic and contemporary ambiance that awaits customers.

The said event featured coffee tastings, live music, and a meet-and-greet with the Dark Roast Coffehouse team. It highlighted the various dark roast coffee blends, each carefully crafted to provide a rich and robust flavor that coffee enthusiasts will love. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the art of coffee roasting and brewing.

Founded by four friends – Krista, Eli, Jianne, and John – Dark Roast Coffeehouse is the culmination of a shared passion for exceptional coffee. Their journey took them to the highlands of Baguio where they immersed themselves in studying various coffee variants to ensure no compromise in quality for their establishment.

“We’re excited to bring our unique dark roast blends to the vibrant community of Quezon City,” said Jianne. “We believe that our coffee will offer a new and exciting experience for coffee lovers in the area.”

Dark Roast Coffeehouse aims to be a place where every sip tells a story of dedication and love for coffee’s complex flavors. Its owners are all eager to provide a complete coffee experience; from classic espressos to inventive blends, there’s something for every palate. Moreover, catering to diverse preferences and dietary needs, clients can customize their drinks with dairy-free milk options upon request.

This new spot also has a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads – perfect options to complement their coffee or drinks. It’s a delightful addition to any coffee shop that can enhance the overall experience for customers.

Upon entering this coffee shop, you will be greeted by the warmth and comfort of a home with the raw, rugged elements typically found in home-y industrial spaces. The whole space is illuminated by bulbs and pendant lights that add a soft glow to the space. Their interior features comfortable furnishings that are both stylish and comfortable such as cozy sofas and armchairs upholstered in soft leather mixed in with some distressed table pieces. The entire loft space can house house 40-50 guests.

For those who missed their soft launching, Dark Roast Coffehouse invites all coffee lovers and enthusiasts to join them in celebrating this May 13 for the grand opening.
