Kenny Rogers Roasters 2nd Farmvocacy Program gives back to mango farmers in Zambales

Following the success of the first Farmvocacy Program, Kenny Rogers Roasters continues its campaign to support and uplift the livelihood of local farmers as it recently donated P300,000.00, this time to the Samahang Magmamanga ng Zambales (SMZ), an organization of mango farmers in Zambales.

The Farmvocacy Program is an initiative of Kenny Rogers Roasters that provides support to local farmers with every purchase of a selected menu offering. Now on its second year, Kenny Rogers Roasters has chosen its Mango Habanero offering to help the local mango farmers in the said province. Through this initiative, customers were able to enjoy a food experience with a cause as Kenny Rogers donated P1.00 with every purchase of the Mango Habanero Solo Plate.

Kenny Rogers Roasters’ donation will help its partner, SMZ, to meet its goal of promoting and producing high quality mangoes that are fit for export and local market distribution, as well as provide a common label and packaging for its local mangoes. Not only that, the donation will also help the federation manage the supply of their mangoes, and to continually improve mango production by sharing best practices among its members and affiliates.

SMZ farmers represented by (L-R) Batungbacal Farms grass cutter operator Abraham Esencio, farmhand Virginia Dalit, land preparation farmhand Ernesto Balanagon, Honeydew farmhand Jojo Omoyon, excavator operator Eduardo Fontecha, and farmhand Danive Borja.

The Farmvocacy Program of Kenny Rogers Roasters is a continuous effort to uplift local farmers by offering financial support to enhance their businesses and improve their families’ well-being. This campaign also strengthens the brand’s goal of offering delicious and healthy meals while recognizing the importance of farmers in the food industry.
