Quezon City District 1 (QCD1) Representative Juan Carlos “Arjo” Atayde is named as one of the top 10 members of the House Of Representatives whose excellent performance is lauded based on the recent survey rendered by RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).
The freshman solon won by a landslide as QCD1’s Congressional race last May 2022 and has since authored almost 50 bills while implementing cutting-edge solutions and projects that addresses many of the problems faced by the people of the district including flood control, disaster response, a monthly feeding program, free medical assistance, and sustainable livelihood projects for both women and the members of the LGBTQ+ community to mention a few.
Atayde’s performance gave him an 80% approval rating based on RPDM’s survey – with “work performance in the fields of representation, legislation, and constituent service” as the main criteria that heavily influences ratings and rankings according to RPDM Executive Director Dr. Paul Martinez.
Atayde expressed his gratefulness to the solid support of his constituents in QCD1 who are all, for him, now part of his extended family. “I am humbled by the results of the survey and this fuels me to work even harder to serve the people of QCD1 to the best of my capacity. This is the most rewarding and fulfilling calling of my life and it is my constant aspiration to reciprocate all the love and support that I have been receiving from the people of QCD1.”
The survey, dubbed as “RPDM Boses Ng Bayan” was conductedfrom the period of November 27 to December 2 with a total of 10,000 respondents.
