An online panel discussion organized by the Humboldt University Berlin titled Habi: Weaving Philippine Textiles Future will be held via zoom on July 14, 10-12:00 (Berlin) / 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. (Manila).
Deputy Speaker Loren Legarda has been invited as guest speaker, together with Dr. Analyn Salvador-Amores of the University of the Philippines Baguio. Prof. Dr. Salvador-Amores will give a talk on “Agabel Tayo! (Let’s Weave): Textile Revitalization in the Philippine Cordillera,” while Deputy Speaker Legarda will share about “Piña Weaving and Embroidery in the Philippines.”
