Grand Hyatt Manila goes green by rolling out flavorful, mouthwatering, delicious plant-based dishes together with the advocacy Green Monday, a one-stop platform for innovative plant-based natural food products. Green Monday is a movement started by Green Common, the partner and distributor to many global leading brands in plant-based natural food products, including the pioneering Beyond Meat.
Using Beyond Meat’s wildly popular Beyond Burger patties and Beyond Sausage, the chefs of Grand Hyatt Manila is now serving the juiciest and tastiest plant-based burgers and sausages in town; as well as other ala carte vegetarian dishes using Beyond Meat, such as Spaghetti Bolognaise and Kimchi Fried Rice.
Since it launched last April, guests of Grand Hyatt Manila have been making their way to The Grand Kitchen for Green Monday when a significant section of the premier a la minute buffet is decked out with sumptuous vegan and vegetarian options. Can’t go on a Monday? Order it a la carte and our chefs at the grill will flip a Beyond Burger or Beyond Sausage for you smothered in your favorite toppings.
Imagine tucking into a BBQ Cheeseburger topped with coleslaw, doused with bbq sauce, cheese, onion rings and jalapenos, or biting into a Chili Cheese Dog with gochujang aioli, chili con carne, grated cheese and jalapenos, both equally juicy and bursting with flavors. The difference this time is the burger and sausage you are enjoying are antibiotic free, hormone free, high in protein, no soy, gluten free, no GMOs, with zero cholesterol in comparison to your regular burger.
Green Monday is only one of the many environmental efforts that the hotel has undertaken to do its part for the environment.
Grand Hyatt Manila is home to a myriad of diverse restaurant concepts, each a pleasing journey to the palate. It hopes to support more causes with the launch of its Green Mondays at The Grand Kitchen.
