Salad in a Jar: a Fresh, Healthy Craze

Consumers’ demand for healthy dining options isn’t likely to go anywhere anytime soon. That is why, Jar’d In Salad House is hosting its grand opening today, May 31, to serve up “Garden Fresh Gourmet” items to health-conscious residences of Congressional Road in Quezon City.

Upon entering the salad shop, you will be welcomed by this open salad station. This enable customers to check off their orders being made on the spot, using selection of lettuce, chopped cherry tomatoes, assorted raw, sliced vegetables (such as cucumbers, carrots, turnip, cabbages, olives and green or red bell peppers), Feta cheese, dried bread croutons, chopped bacon, cooked cold meats (chicken breast, ham, shrimp), tofu, walnuts, sweet corn, cooked beans, boiled eggs, nacho chips, crispy noodles, fresh cut fruit slices (grapes, pomelo, watermelon) and various types of salad dressing.

The new salad house concept offers many flavors, designed specifically to be both healthy and uniquely delicious. And owners take pride in prepping the menu items in house – fresh from the farm guaranteed!

Signature salad creations include fast, made-to-order salads and healthy meals that put a twist on popular favorites such as the “Greek Salad,” “Cowboy Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad,” “Cancun BBQ Burrito Bowl”, “Vietnamese Banhme Pomelo Salad”, and “Amazonia Grain Powerbowl”.

Price range: P220-P330 per bowl or takeout jar

The restaurant has seating for 30, and will have limited outdoor seating when the weather gets warmer. It is open daily 10AM to 8PM and is located at MC2 Building in 177 Congressional Avenue, Barangay Bahay Toro, Project 8, Quezon City 1106 Metro Manila.
