The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) invites Dabawenyos to the Taiwan Excellence Experience Zone as it will promote its brands, products and Taiwan’s ceaseless innovation, at the 2019 Davao International Marathon (DIM 2019).
Previously focused on Manila, Taiwan Excellence is hoping to share its innovation to increasing numbers of Filipino consumers and help enrich their lives.
Sharing the “excellent lifestyle” to Dabawenyos
“For the past six years, we have built a strong and loyal following in Manila. During this time, we received an outpouring of support for our brands,” says Tony Lin, TAITRA Deputy Director of the Strategic Marketing Department. “This is why we have decided to broaden our reach this year and introduce much-needed innovation to more people.”
Citing similarities between Taiwan and Davao City, Lin said that the “Durian Capital of the Philippines” is a great fit for the unmatched lifestyle Taiwan Excellence espouses. “Davao boasts a teeming natural ecosystem and a vibrant population, much like Taiwan. I believe these factors make it an optimal place to promote the many innovations coming out of Taiwan.”
The Taiwan Excellence Experience Zone is dedicated to showcasing superb brands that have been awarded the Taiwan Excellence accolade. Each product has been selected for a specific Taiwan Excellence Award based on their superiority in the following categories: design, quality, marketing, R&D, and lastly, it should be made in Taiwan. The symbol of Taiwan Excellence is recognized in 102 countries.
Located at the DIM 2019 Race Village at People’s Park, Taiwan Excellence will proudly display the quality of Taiwanese brands alongside other games and surprises on race day on March 10. Another highlight is local artist Kyle Echarri who will take part in an exclusive interactive.
