Dr. Martens officially arrived in the Philippines last December 2011 via a cool dressed up-container van located at the Fort Strip, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. It moved into a bigger and better concept store located at Two Parkade BGC last May 2013. It is the biggest store in the country to date.

Dr. Martens Two Parkade establishes itself as the brand’s flagship store in the country. With a complete line of merchandise that includes footwear, bags, accessories, and even shirts, Dr. Martens Two Parkade gives its enthusiasts a wider variety of choices. One of the most exciting reasons why this store is a must visit is its latest makeover. Dr. Martens Two Parkade now boasts of an all new design and layout, similar to the look of the new Dr. Martens stores in Europe, United States of America, and other Asian countries.
“It is the only Dr. Martens store in the country with its own storefront situated outside the mall. So the customer gets an experience of entering the doors of the stores, straight from the streets of the urban BGC and into a whole new home for boots, shoes, and everything Docs,” shares Edward Kabiling, Marketing and Operations Manager about Dr. Martens having an exclusive location in one of the Metro’s premium spots at Bonifacio Global City.
Music and DM’s
Since the birth of the flagship store, Dr. Martens has been hosting gig nights featuring Imago, Bloomfields, Squid’s and the legendary OPM band Razorback, who did their performances twice at the DM Two Parkade. This January 2019, another big name joins the ranks. The Itchyworms serenades the crowd with acoustic renditions of their hits to the crowd, bringing together music and DM enthusiasts as they listened to cool music and shop for a new pair or two.
Though musicians have been closely associated to the brand, it is not limited to these individuals. “The DM buyer is diverse: breaking stereotypes and generation gaps, the people buying and wearing DMs can be your nephew, your newborn niece, your loving aunt, your strict dad, your fashionable sister, or even your grandmother,” reveals Edward Kabiling, Marketing and Operations Manager. “Every pair of Docs has a story. Every wearer is excited whenever they visit the store, looking at the designs, old and new. All because every pair introduces them to new experiences. It could be another trip, another adventure, or it could be a gift for the one they love, or a gift for themselves.”
