The REFINED – The professional gentlemen in the Metro Manila area now have an upscale grooming lounge (barbershop/salon hybrid) designed exclusively for them and their personal grooming needs.
Noël Naguiat Co-owner and Founder of Mankind Grooming Studio for Men out of Canada whom was responsible for the branding, marketing and interior design of all locations during its inception in 2009 Toronto’s first men-only grooming salon. Within a year, it was voted Toronto Life’s “Best in the City”.
Noël Naguiat often visited the Philippines but on his last visit home over a year ago he began searching for a business to invest in, he wanted to bring a new concept to Manila with a presence that also has a well-defined business and operating model that provides strong support from his partners/ co owners and to create an assured work environment that motivates, retains and supports their highly qualified staff that will be servicing and transforming their clients on the daily.
He and his Manila partners recently opened The Refined at The Fort Strip in BGC area to continue to build on this modern concept in the Metro. It is the first upscale men’s-only Grooming Spa in the Philippines, which will have a selection of Groomists (barber/stylist hybrid) and also Aestheticians for spa services in partnership with the award winning Mandala Spa from Boracay.
The Refined, as a one stop grooming destination, is targeted toward the distinct gentleman, is a contemporary lounge concept offering a distinct collection of upscale men’s grooming services including modern and classic professional cuts and styling, straight-razor shaves, hot towel treatments, facial and scalp treatments, MAN-icures, hand treatments and pedicures, massages and more.
The signature haircut is their exclusive Omega package, which includes scalp massage, mini facial and body massage followed by a contemporary cut, rinse and style.
It also includes a shoeshine and complimentary beverage of choice. Clients can enjoy a crafted selection of beverages ranging from coffee to single malt spirits while using the work lounge. Perfect for meetings, networking, and workshops/events.
