Shine with the Sanicare Christmas Boxes

The Filipino Christmas spirit is probably one of the best in the world. It’s not just because they put up the brightest Christmas decors as early as September or because of the yummy Christmas treats such as bibingka and puto bumbong, but also because of their resilient attitude. Filipinos’ ability to share the brightest smiles and positive outlook amidst having a rough year is what makes a Filipino Christmas shine like no other.

To give light to the resilient trait and the spirit of Christmas in the most special way, Sanicare, a proudly Filipino brand, collaborated with MovEd founder, Alex Eduque to design special boxes for the Sanicare 3-ply facial tissue.
Alex is a gifted artist whose early work focuses mainly on doodles and hand illustrations.  She shares her amazing talent mainly for her advocacy, At the age of 22, she founded Molding Optimism and Values Thru Education (MovEd), an organization that aims to give every Filipino child a quality early childhood education.

This Christmas, celebrate the beaming Filipino Christmas spirit and the Filipino talent with the Sanicare boxes, the only 3-ply facial tissue in the market. Aside from being a standout piece for homes this Christmas, every box will also serve as a reminder of a Filipino Christmas like no other.

Her first time to design a tissue box, Alex poured her heart and passion into invoking the lively and merry Filipino Christmas spirit on the Sanicare 3-ply tissue boxes. But aside from the beautiful design, it sends a wonderful message, too.
Alex chose to focus on parol designs on the tissue boxes because, for her, it symbolizes a promise of unification. At the same time, the parol transcends all social classes for Filipinos, because, for every social class, it has its own value.
“No matter what walk of life you’re from in the Philippines, you always put it out there, it’s something you are proud of. It’s as universal as stars are in different corners of the world,” Alex explained.
Aside from the parol, the boxes also have an “Ikat” design, which gives light to the Marawi crisis that happened late this year. Ikat is a type of weave that is mostly known to be created by Manobo tribes from Mindanao. Alex continued to explain, “Because of what happened in Marawi, I wanted a Mindanoan aspect somewhat prominent, that even in the bleakest and darkest area of our country, there will still be light.”
The specially designed Sanicare Christmas boxes are already available in supermarkets. You can choose from four beautiful colors: red, blue, white and green. Grab the gift-ready Sanicare box for you, your family and friends!
