The Philippines’ national fruit is set to make its way onto CHAGEE’s local menu. In time for CHAGEE’s ninth year since its founding this November, the popular tea brand is introducing BO·YA Mango Jasmine Green Brewed Tea and Milk Tea, bringing a fresh take on a familiar Filipino favorite.
Mango holds a special place in Filipino food culture, loved for its natural sweetness and enjoyed in everything from fresh fruit and traditional desserts to refreshing drinks. Its versatility also makes it a natural fit for new flavor combinations.
A Pairing We Didn’t See Coming
Mango’s fruity sweetness meets the delicate floral character of jasmine green tea in CHAGEE’s upcoming BO·YA Mango Jasmine Green. The pairing brings a new dimension to the tropical fruit, moving beyond familiar mango-based refreshments. The tea leaves are infused with fresh mango puree and goes through a fruit-infusion aroma-locking process, where the tea leaves are dried at low temperature to help preserve both the tea and fruit aromas. Freeze-dried mango pieces are then added for an extra burst of mango character.
Whether enjoyed as a milk tea or brewed tea, the new offering puts tea craftsmanship at the center of the experience. It opens with a bright burst of ripe mango, followed by layers of jasmine and a clean floral-fruity finish, while keeping the signature character of BO·YA Jasmine Green at its heart.
For Filipino tea lovers, the upcoming launch offers a new way to enjoy the country’s national fruit, bringing a local favorite into a different kind of tea experience.
