Samsung Introduces Galaxy Tab S12 Series: The Ultimate Productivity Powerhouse Built for Growth

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has officially introduced the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+, the company’s most advanced tablets to date. Designed for those who constantly push boundaries—whether in career, education, or creative pursuits—the Galaxy Tab S12 series combines breakthrough performance, long-lasting battery life, and the latest Galaxy AI features in an ultra-thin, durable design. With these innovations, Samsung empowers users to transform complex workflows into effortless achievements.

Slim Yet Powerful Design

At just 5.1mm, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is Samsung’s thinnest tablet ever, yet it delivers unmatched performance. The Galaxy Tab S12+ follows closely with a 5.3mm profile, balancing portability with professional-grade power. Both models are engineered for resilience, boasting IP68-rated water and dust resistance, ensuring peace of mind even in demanding environments.

Battery life is another highlight: the Tab S12 Ultra lasts up to 23 hours on a single charge, while the Tab S12+ offers up to 21 hours. When recharging is needed, the 45W adapter powers the devices from 0% to 100% in about 95 minutes, minimizing downtime. This makes the tablets ideal for professionals balancing work, study, and personal growth throughout the day.

Breakthrough Performance

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, the Galaxy Tab S12 series delivers up to 61% faster NPU processing, 19% faster CPU performance, and 17% improved GPU power compared to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. A newly designed 3D Vapor Chamber ensures efficient heat dissipation, enabling reliable performance during intensive tasks such as video editing or graphic design.

This performance leap means users can multitask seamlessly—watching lectures, taking notes, and asking AI for clarifications—all without interruptions. The combination of speed, responsiveness, and durability makes the Galaxy Tab S12 series a true productivity powerhouse.

Immersive Display and Audio

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the Tab S12+ offers a 12.6-inch screen with slimmer bezels. Both deliver peak brightness of 1,600 nits and outdoor brightness of 1,000 nits, enhanced by Vision Booster technology that adjusts brightness in real time.

Sound quality also receives a major upgrade with quad-channel spatial audio, doubling the audio channels of the previous generation. Whether streaming content, following tutorials, or editing projects, users enjoy a richer, more immersive experience.

Galaxy AI and Smart Productivity

Running on Android 17 with One UI 9, the Galaxy Tab S12 series integrates Galaxy AI to streamline everyday tasks. Features like Multi Window allow users to split the screen into three sections—taking notes, watching lectures, and interacting with AI assistants simultaneously. The bundled S Pen enhances precision for note-taking, sketching, and annotating, while Note Assist summarizes notes automatically, helping learners and professionals stay organized.

For those seeking a workstation setup, Samsung offers the Pro Keyboard with a premium aluminum finish and a dedicated Galaxy AI Key for instant access to AI assistants. The Book Cover Keyboard Slim provides flexibility with comfortable viewing angles, making the tablets adaptable to any workflow.

Expanded Ecosystem and App Benefits

Samsung has partnered with leading software providers to deliver benefits worth approximately $600, ensuring users can maximize their skills and creativity. Highlights include:
