At the heart of Delbros Group’s mission is a commitment to keeping the Philippines moving forward. Through its various businesses and services, they have supported the movement of people, cargo, businesses, and opportunities within the country and beyond its shores.

This role in creating connections has taken different forms over the years, from supporting local businesses and supply chains to helping link the Philippines with markets around the world. One of its longest-standing partnerships has been with UPS, a relationship that began in 1988 and evolved into a joint venture in 1997.

Bringing together Delbros’ deep roots in the Philippine market with the vast reach of UPS’ global network, the partnership is now entering its next chapter with the opening of the expanded UPS Clark Hub.

More than an expansion of logistics infrastructure, the hub represents the continued evolution of a partnership built around connecting the Philippines with opportunities beyond its shores.

“For decades, we have helped connect the Philippines to the rest of the world,” said Paolo Delgado, CEO of Delbros Group. “As we enter this next chapter with UPS, we remain focused on strengthening those connections while creating more opportunities for Filipino talent and ideas to reach wider audiences.”

That idea of connection extends beyond the movement of goods. It can also be found in the people, ideas, and stories that emerge from the Philippines and find audiences elsewhere.

One recent example is the UPS Philippines Express Envelope Design Contest, organized by UPS Philippines with the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and supported by the Delbros Group. The competition invited Multimedia Arts students to reimagine the UPS Express Envelope through designs inspired by the Philippines and the new Clark Hub.

More than 400 entries were submitted, with Lauren Kerby Obaldo’s design selected as the Grand Prize winner. Soon, “Haraya sa Kalsada”  will move beyond the exhibition space and onto UPS Express Envelopes that can travel through UPS’ global network of more than 200 countries and territories.

The initiative reflects another dimension of what connection can mean: creating opportunities for Filipino creativity to reach beyond the places where it was first created.

“Championing local creativity reflects our commitment to meaningful connection,” noted Delgado. “Beyond helping enterprises and communities expand into new markets, our goal is

to empower Filipino innovators and creators by providing platforms for their work to be recognized and celebrated globally.”

“Haraya sa Kalsada” offers one example of that idea in motion. Created by a young Filipino artist, the work began as a creative interpretation of the Philippines and will soon find a new canvas on an envelope that can travel the world.

As Delbros Group enters its next chapter with UPS, it continues to build on a role it has held for decades, creating connections that allow what begins in the Philippines to go further.
