Julie’s, the country’s largest neighborhood bakeshop, officially opened its biggest flagship store last June 27 as part of its expansion of offerings, as it celebrates 45 years of serving freshly baked breads and pastries to Filipino families.
This new concept combines the familiarity of a neighborhood bakery with the convenience of quick-service meals and the warmth of Filipino dining culture—designed to appeal to families, students, and professionals.
It introduces an elevated café-style experience where customers can enjoy Julie’s signature breads alongside coffee selections, soft serve ice cream, cakes, hearty breakfast meals, and group dining offerings. Filipino classics like “silog” breakfast meals and “salo-salo bilao” ideal for social gatherings will also be offered.
“Julie’s is excited to showcase our evolution as we expand beyond our traditional offerings into a more modern and versatile food concept. Innovation and expansion are key to our commitment and mission to feed Filipino communities,” said Julie’s CEO Joseph Gandionco.
This new store concept is also available for franchising through Julie’s Franchise Corporation, letting more business owners bring the evolved Julie’s experience to communities across the country.
Gandionco expressed hopes that business-minded Filipinos will see the growth potential and increased employment opportunities from this new concept.
“Julie’s has always been part of Filipino communities and celebrations. With our new flagship store, we wanted to create a more complete dining and café experience while staying true to the warmth and affordability that generations of customers love,” he added.
