Allianz PNB Life Marks a Decade of Service, Reinforces Commitment to Fostering Filipino Families Trust

As it celebrates its decade-long service in the Philippines this 2026, Allianz PNB Life (Allianz) reiterates its commitment to serving Filipino families and honoring their trust.

“This year, Allianz PNB Life Insurance celebrates an important milestone. We are 10 years in the Philippines. We could not have achieved this without the support of our stakeholders – especially our customers. I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your support and trust in this company. This trust is based on our commitment to your well-being – to protect you, to take care of you and your families,” said Allianz President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Gross.

Delivering Peace of Mind and Financial Security

Helping Filipinos achieve “panatag” or the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their family’s future is secure is at the core of the company’s commitment.

“It means that we should deserve your trust. We need to earn your trust every day by standing at your side when you need us to deliver on our promise of providing protection, managing your money responsibly, for a long-term relationship,” Gross emphasized.

Combining the Expertise of Two Industry Leaders

Munich-based Allianz Group entered the Philippine market in 2016 through its partnership with Philippine National Bank (PNB). It brought together one of the world’s largest financial services organizations and one of the Philippines’ most established banking institutions, creating Allianz and expanding access to insurance and financial protection solutions for Filipino families nationwide.Over the past decade, the company has grown into one of the country’s leading life insurers. It maintained its strong financial momentum in 2025, with net income under Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) rising to ₱1.06 billion, and New Business Annual Premium Equivalent (NBAPE) climbing to 17 percent at ₱4.8 billion, outperforming industry averages and reinforcing the insurer’s continued growth.Allianz serves hundreds of thousands of Filipino customers through its agency force, bancassurance network, and distribution partners. Since it started in the country, Allianz has paid out over PHP 6.1 billion in claims and policy benefits, helping families navigate some of life’s most difficult and unexpected moments.

Backed by a Formidable Global Institution

Allianz in the Philippines is backed by the strength of the Allianz Group, one of the world’s largest insurers and asset managers, and present in more than 70 countries. The group serves 97 million customers worldwide and employs more than 156,000 people representing 172 nationalities.

In 2025, the Allianz Group reported business volume of EUR 186.9 billion, managed approximately EUR 2 trillion in assets, and generated an operating profit of EUR 17.4 billion. Globally, Allianz ranks among the top five companies in the life and health insurance sector and is a leading provider of property and casualty insurance and corporate insurance solutions. Its brand is recognized around the world, with Allianz-branded stadiums in Munich, Sydney, St. Paul, Turin, Nice, São Paulo, and Vienna. The company was also named the world’s number one insurance brand by Interbrand for the seventh consecutive year.

While the Allianz Group brings global scale and expertise, Allianz in the Philippines has built a reputation locally for customer service and reliability. The company maintains a network of 295 accredited medical providers nationwide and has earned the Great Place to Work certification for three consecutive years, reflecting its commitment to both customers and employees.

As Allianz enters its second decade in the country, Gross said the company’s focus remains unchanged: helping more Filipinos secure their future while continuing to earn the confidence of the families it serves.

“Once again, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for the years of trust that you have given our company and for many, many years to come,” Gross said.
