A failing marriage takes a dark turn when a man’s wife goes missing the day after he asks for a divorce in The Husband – an upcoming Korean crime thriller coming July 4 to Disney+.
What started off as a marriage made in heaven for Taeju and Seyun quickly descended into bickering and fighting, and after four years of misery, successful neurosurgeon Taeju finally decides to call it quits. But when Seyun goes missing under suspicious circumstances the day after her husband asks for a divorce, Taeju suddenly becomes the prime suspect as he works to evade police and rescue his estranged wife.
Starring Namkoong Min (Our Movie, One Dollar Lawyer) as Taeju – a successful doctor and the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance, and Lee Sul (Gold Land, Our Movie) as Seyun – a driven and disciplined chairperson of the hospital, The Husband is directed by Kim Junghyun (Hyper Knife, Crazy Love) and is written by Jung Jaeha.
