Singer-songwriter Zion Aguirre has released his latest single under Tarsier Records, titled “Mahiwaga”, which is now available on various streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
Written by Zion himself and produced by Jhay Ehidio, “Mahiwaga” is an alternative dream pop track that captures the indescribable feeling of admiration for someone special, creating an excitement-filled connection that is hard to let go of.
“I wrote this song para maka-feel ng lightness, kilig, at spark ulit sa buhay,” Zion shared in a post.
Zion first gained attention through his independent singles “Paradise,” “Sunshine,” and “Yakap.” In 2020, Zion officially became part of Tarsier Records and released the songs “Promise” and “Yakap,” which collectively earned more than 1.8 million plays on TikTok.
In 2022, he released his debut extended play (EP), “Bigkas,” featuring the single “In Another Life.” He returned to the music scene last year with the release of “Ayoko Na.”
The official music video for Zion’s latest single premiered on Tarsier Records’ YouTube channel on Saturday (May 23). It features former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemate Fred Moser.
