Sun Life Philippines is redefining how young employees and professionals approach their financial wellness through Live Bright Trivia Night, a vibrant nationwide series of social after-work events that weave together pop culture moments, real-life “adulting” adventures, and practical money wisdom into an evening of connection, fun, and personal growth.
Mounted in collaboration with quiz night community Trivia Down Tuesdays, Live Bright Trivia Night celebrates the lifestyle shift young professionals are embracing—one where taking care of your finances feels as natural as enjoying time with friends. By blending entertainment, music, and lifestyle questions with bite-sized financial insights, the event helps participants build confidence in their financial decisions while unwinding and connecting with their community.
The first leg of the series kicked off with two consecutive trivia nights in Iloilo: the first one at Bite: Bakery and Kitchen then at Seda Atria Iloilo. Mounted in collaboration with Trivia Down Tuesdays, a well-loved quiz night community, the event showcased pop culture-inspired trivia questions interspersed with practical financial tips on budgeting, saving, insurance, and planning for life goals. Each round sparked conversations and “Aha!” moments, making financial learning relatable and not overwhelming.
“Financial conversations shouldn’t feel intimidating, especially for today’s employees and professionals who are navigating so many life decisions at once,” Sun Life Philippines Chief Client Experience and Marketing Officer Carla Gonzalez-Chong said. “Through Live Bright Trivia Night, we’re meeting them in a space that feels familiar and fun so that learning happens naturally. Following its Iloilo launch, Live Bright Trivia Night will continue its rollout across the country, with upcoming legs scheduled in Bacolod, Cebu, Davao, and select locations in Luzon and Metro Manila in the coming months, bringing the same high-energy, learning-through-play experience to more Filipino employees and professionals nationwide.
