The AI Centre of Excellence (ACE) and World Communications KL (WorldComm KL) have formally partnered to host an exclusive, half-day Artificial Intelligence (AI) workshop designed specifically for public relations and communication professionals across Malaysia.

This highly anticipated event aims to significantly upskill practitioners by moving past buzzwords to provide actionable strategies for integrating AI into their communication efforts. Participants will also gain concrete methods for leveraging AI to revolutionize their PR work, equipping them with the tools for today and tomorrow.

The workshop promises exclusive, high-value content, offering unique insights and practical applications not readily available elsewhere, directly applicable to the Malaysian PR context.

Attendees will learn to unlock AI’s power to do things at greater scale with greater accuracy, significantly enhancing core PR functions. This includes:

  • Market research: Gaining deep understanding of your own or your client’s business landscape through market analysis, audience research, and stakeholder mapping.

  • Reputation mastery:Understand how AI-driven search engines will drastically impact your brand and leadership visibility, and the latest strategies to mitigate it.

You will learn which AI tool (LLM) to use for which task, and explore the latest prompting best practices and advanced features for tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and NotebookLM.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Rob van Alphen, Founder and Managing Director of AI consultancy Polaris. Mr. van Alphen brings extensive experience, having upskilled thousands of professionals globally, spearheaded the first global research on Generative AI adoption in PR, and architected Asia’s first PR industry AI Guidance.

The workshop is strategically timed as a concise, impactful half-day session, designed to maximize learning without disrupting a full work week. Furthermore, it emphasizes ethical AI guidance, ensuring participants understand not just how to use AI, but how to use it responsibly, navigating the complex ethical landscape of AI in PR with confidence and integrity.
