Puregold Price Club, Inc. was honored as one of Manila City’s Top Business Taxpayers, during the Gawad Manileño awarding ceremony at the Metropolitan Theater in Ermita, Manila, on Monday, June 17. The Gawad Manileño 2024 “Mga Natatanging Tagapagbayad ng Buwis Para sa Negosyo ” recognized outstanding companies, including Puregold, for its dutiful payment of taxes, contributing to the growth of the city. The awards were conferred by Manila Mayor Honey-Lacuna Pangan and Vice Mayor John Marvin “Yul Servo” Nieto.
Aside from Puregold, the other awardees in the said category were International Container Terminal Services, Inc., Mercury Drug Corporation, Asian Terminals Incorporated, Manila North Harbour Port, Inc., Philippine Chinese Charitable Association, Inc., SM Prime Holdings, Inc. and Golden Arches Development Corporation.
San Miguel Corporation (SMC) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ramon Ang was also honored with the Gawad Gat Andres Bonifacio award during the same event.
