Artistick Pinoy Sticker Design: A Celebration of Art, Culture, and Hometown Pride

In celebration of 122nd Araw ng Lalawigan ng Rizal and 125th Philippine Independence Day, SM City Taytay recently presented the highly anticipated exhibit of the annual Araw Ng Lalawigan Ng Rizal Inter-town Competition: Artistick Pinoy Sticker Design.

Supported by Miniso and in partnership with the Department of Education – Rizal, the said contest aims to urge creativity to each student-artist representing their municipalities namely Angono, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jala-jala, Morong, Pililla, Rodriguez, San Mateo, Tanay, Taytay, and Teresa, depicting Rizaleños culture and lifestyle.

“Each town and city participating in this competition has been given the opportunity to create stickers that reflect the unique character, landmarks, history, and cultural heritage that make their community exceptional. These stickers represent the aspirations, dreams, and collective identity of each town,” said Aimee Ramirez, SMTT Assistant Mall Manager.

The said exhibit has become a showcase of the vibrant spirit of Rizal Province’s 13 municipalities and 1 city through awesome water tumbler stickers created with each town’s artistic flair. Intricately designed and created by home-grown student artists chosen by DepEd Rizal, the stickers depict the influence and style in their respective hometowns.

During the awarding ceremony, the sticker-bombed tumbler representing Municipality of Cainta designed by student-artist Margaret Alyson Dalumpines from Francisco P. Felix National High School emerged as the grand winner. Below are the other winners:
