realme’s Buds Q2s helps you #GrooveAllDayLong

Launched together with the new realme smartphone GT Neo 3 is the realme Buds Q2s. With its 30 hours of total playback time, large 10mm Bass Driver with support for Dolby Atmos, and a super low latency at 88ms, this newest True Wireless Stereo (TWS) offering promises a #GroveAllDayLong experience.

As the brand’s latest TWS product, the realme Buds Q2s boasts functionality and style with its futuristic arc-shaped, transparent Spacecraft Voyaging Case Design that is sure to catch the eye. The round charging case is small and compact, which perfectly fits in your pocket.

The in-ear designed earbuds weigh about 4 grams, which is light and don’t feel irritating even you use it for a  longer time. You can even sleep wearing it. With medium pre-installed, the ear tips also come in small and large size options.

The back of it has a textured finish where the touch control is present. It also comes with an Intelligent Touch Controls, and you can customize the controls from the settings in the realme Link app.

The Buds Q2s adapts the standard USB Type-C and comes with the latest Bluetooth V5.2 which is compatible with all the smartphones devices available in the market. It also connects to PC and other devices via bluetooth and as well. Its 10m Connectivity Range, on the other hand, guarantees better connectivity and low power consumption.

To deliver the best sound quality, the Buds Q2s comes equipped with a 10mm Dynamic Bass Boost Driver and supports Dolby Atmos. These features make the mid-range sound quite adequate while the bass deeper and booming (especially after when you enable it features Bass Boost+ Mode from the realme link app), plus a more immersive audio experience. Generally, the volume levels are also satisfactory. It also has an AI ENC noise cancellation for calls. This allows for emission of unwanted noise by separating background voices and noises (wind noise at most) in real-time via algorithms. And dual microphones help when it comes to voice clarity during calls.

Now if you hate playing mobile games with the audio not in sync with the video, the Gaming mode will give you enhance experience because it has an 88ms Super Low Latency. This means a perfect audio and video synchronization for a smoother experience with less lag time when users are playing video games or watching movies. For Gaming mode, enable the same in the realme link app. 

Staying true to its tagline, the Buds Q2s battery life has really been improved as well compared to the Buds Q, with “40mAh” for the earbuds and “400mAh” for the charging case so users can enjoy listening anytime and anywhere. Surely, it will make you #GrooveAllDayLong with 7 hours of single time playback for the buds and its 30-Hour Total Playback for the charging case.

Charging the earbuds fully takes about an hour, and charging the case takes about 2.5 hours. It supports fast charging via the Type-C port. With just 10 minutes of charging time, you’ll get 180 minutes of playback.

Lastly, the Buds Q2 also boasts a IPX4 waterproofing resistance which means it can remain safe from splashes coming from any direction and it even has resistance to sweat, making it your flawless workout companion. However, the case is not water-resistant.

Given it offers good audio quality, customizable touch controls, has low-latency gaming, good app support, fast and stable connectivity, comfortable fit, and of course the battery life, the Realme Buds Q2s is a good deal. Overall, these buds do a fair job.
