Great deals await at Pushkart.ph month-long Super Sale

Delivery is the name of the game in the Philippines in terms of food and groceries as Filipinos become accustomed to online shopping in lieu of social distancing. However, sufficient supplies to meet the growing demand are being hampered by several geopolitical factors that resulted insoaring local prices of goods.

To help customers cope, Pushkart.ph, the pioneering online grocery shopping platform in the Philippines, is holding a month-long Super Sale so customers can enjoy the convenience of food and grocery shopping for a relatively cheaper price with just a few clicks on their laptops or mobile phones.

From June 27 to July 31, customers can get up to 10 percent off on groceries in Metro Supermarket and Fisher Supermarket.

Another 20 percent cut on the original prices of goods from Pushkart.ph’s Specialty Stores and food merchants also await patrons. Laguna customers also get special and FREE food and grocery items for orders made online on July 15.

On top of all these discounts, orders will be delivered for FREE during the promo period. Despite the increasing fuel prices nationwide, Pushkart.ph normally maintains the cheapest delivery rates for their services and it does not charge shoppers additional payments such as convenience fees. Customers only have to pay a flat rate of P100 anywhere within Metro Manila and Cabuyao, Sta. Rosa, and Binan, Laguna for groceries, and a flat rate of only P60 for Pushkart.ph merchants.

“The Super Sale is very timely because we want to offer our customers reprieve to the increasing prices of goods by providing them great deals. All they have to do is simply download our mobile application or go to our website and they can easily score great deals,” Pushkart.ph President and CEO Mike Lim said.

“Aside from giving away discounts, we want to ride on our growth momentum through this Super Sale by raising awareness and driving more users to our website and mobile app so they can realize the convenience we offer. This is also our way of giving back to their support, especially during the height of the pandemic,” Lim added.

Pushkart.ph, a platform made by Filipinos for the convenience of fellow Filipinos, is an on-demand platform that lets users conveniently do their food and grocery shopping. They only have to register for an account, select their favorite merchant, add food or grocery items to their cart, schedule delivery, and pay. Users can either have their purchases delivered on the same day they order or on a scheduled date.

Well-positioned for expansion, Pushkart.ph is ready to bring its operations and services to more cities outside Metro Manila, particularly in Cavite and Pampanga, through a partnership with Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (Metro Supermarket) within the third quarter.

Pushkart.ph is the first homegrown startup acquired by NASDAQ-listed Southeast Asian loyalty and analytics platform Society Pass, Inc. (SoPa).

“We aim to offer a more personalized online shopping experience and boost the retail value chain in the country by maximizing SoPa’s technology. With its support, we plan to expand to more key cities in Visayas and Mindanao, and eventually in other parts of Southeast Asia,” Lim added.

Currently, Pushkart.ph is present in all the cities in Metro Manila as well as in some parts of Rizal like Cainta, Lower Antipolo, and Taytay where it has partnerships with supermarket chains Fisher Retail Inc. (Fisher Supermarket) and Metro Supermarket. In Laguna, it has a tie-up with RSVP Shoppers Mart (Reysal Supermarket.)

These strategic partnerships allow Pushkart.ph shoppers to have access to the priority lane when checking out, which effectively cuts their time inside supermarkets.

To simplify transactions, Pushkart.ph has tapped payment gateway Paymongo to allow hassle-free acceptance of online payments from customers using credit and debit cards, Gcash, Grabpay, and Paymaya as well as payments paid via coins.ph.

Pushkart.ph was first introduced in 2017 to ensure quick delivery of groceries right at every Filipino’s doorstep. Pushkart.ph is available on both iOS and Android. Users can also access its services through Pushkart.ph’s website.
