From Baclaran to Quiapo to Tondo, Manila was the latest destination of Team AP All Stars of #164APPartylist motorcade led by Primetime King Coco Martin with Task Force 164 last April 28.
Coco joined AP partylist first nominee Rep. Ronnie Ong for a motorcade from Baclaran to Quiapo before ending the day with a Grand Rally in Parola, Tondo.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the AP (Ako’y Pilipino) Partylist has been very active in helping people during the height health crisis. Led by its Representative Ronnie Ong, who is currently running for 1st nominee, the group did several projects during the pandemic which include free transportation for health workers, helping farmers to get their produce to centralized pantries to feed communities, free tablets and access to internet connection for teachers and students.
Nicknamed by PeopleAsia as the “frontliner Congressman,” Rep. Ong is known for his various ingenious COVID-19 Bayanihan projects since the first lockdown, such as his #LibrengSakay program for healthworkers, #LibrengGulay program for community kitchens, #LibrengTablets and E-skwela Hub e-learning centers for students and teachers. These initiatives have helped communities around the country.
Coco, who is also Representative Ong’s close friend, knew about AP Partylist’s numerous deeds, which is why together with #TaskForce164, they have been going around the country to let people know about the programs and initiatives of AP Partylist and Rep. Ronnie in uplifting the lives of Filipinos. AP Partylist’s Biyaheng Asenso platform includes initiatives for better livelihood opportunities, education for all, better access to health services and commuters’ bill of rights.
“Ito pong partylist na ito ay napakaimporante sa aming lahat, dahil itong partylist na ito ay binuo para tulungan ang lahat ng mamayang Pilipino…Lahat po tayo ay may pinagdaanan at naghirap dahil sa pandemya…maraming mga drivers ang hindi nakapasada… kaya nais ng AP Partylist na matulungan ang sambayanan Pilipino. Wag nang mangamba, nandito na ang AP Partylist. Dito na tayo sa biyaheng aasenso ang lahat ng Pilipino,” Coco told the crowd who replied with deafening cheers of support.
More than just Coco Martin, the all-star cast of Ang Probinsyano forming the famed “Task Force Agila,” was also in full support sharing the various advocacies and accomplishments of AP Partylist. Aside from singing, dancing and entertaining the crowd that evening, the AP All Stars or #TaskForce164, composed of Marc Solis, John Medina, John Pratts, Raymart Santiago, Angel Aquino, Michael De Mesa, have expressed their full support to the partylist. They were also joined by Smugglaz, Bassilyo, Sisa Crazyaspinoy, and Gracenote delighting the thousands of Manilenos in the crowd with performances, games and prizes as they pledged their full support to the AP Partylist.
